Originally from Enumclaw, WA, I moved to Raleigh, NC when I was young, and ever since I have been passionate about storytelling and illustration. Whether its the monster under the bed or the magical alter ego, there is always a page in my sketchbook for any idea.
I specialize in graphic illustration, realistic portraiture and pyrography, I also enjoy character design, concept art, and comic illustration (especially within the genres of fantasy and sci-fi). While I will draw any and everything that comes to mind, the human experience, fact or fiction, is what truly inspires me. I have a special fondness for writing stories that reflect the experiences of women and LGBT people, and I often use themes of mythology or magic within my work.
I received a Bachelor of Art+Design with a concentration in Animation/Interactive Media from North Carolina State University in 2019. During undergrad I worked with the Museum of Life and Science in Durham, NC, to develop an interactive exhibit to implement with the museum, and interned at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences in Raleigh, NC to create new visuals and programs showcasing a visualization software called OpenSpace.
